He began full time ministry as a Lay Parish Evangelist and later a Vicar of an Urban parish in the diocese of Sheffield as well as being the Diocesan Advisor. He has experience of evangelism for all ages and styles and has even had a Bus for his work. He loves being involved in the work of evangelism.

Vincie Abbott trained and worked as a physiotherapist before becoming a full-time itinerant evangelist. In 1982, she was appointed as the first female executive in the Evangelical Alliance and led the evangelism department for just over 3 years, before returning to itinerant ministry.
In the early 90’s, Vincie went back to physio at Burrswood, in those days a “Medical Centre for Physical and Spiritual Healing”, where there were many opportunities of sharing the Gospel and ministering in wonderful ways.
In 1995, she and BJ were married and Vincie joined her new husband in the business world where together they had many opportunities to share their faith. In 2008, they moved to Wiltshire and not only did they build their own home, but have been involved in lay worship in a rural team of 10 churches. Vincie led Messy church for over 5 years and still ministers as a local lay leader. She has been a member of FPE since 1985.
Paul came to a living faith as a teenager at school. After leaving university, he trained as an accountant and worked for the oil giant BP for several years, before receiving a call to the Anglican ministry. He was ordained in 1990 and for 17 years was Vicar of St. John’s Church in Wakefield, where he was actively involved in mission and evangelism, being recognised as a Diocesan Evangelist. In 2011 he and his wife Marjorie moved to Châteauroux in central France to lead a French-speaking Church, the culmination of a lifelong interest in France and all things French. In 2020 they retired, and returned to Yorkshire to live in Harrogate, near their family. They are now active members of the Anglican network church, Kairos, and help lead one of its missional communities. They were excited to discover that there are little groups in Harrogate who get together to speak foreign languages (French, Italian) and have found them to be a rich source of new friendships.
Paul has been a member of FPE since 1996. He and Marjorie have a son, a daughter and two delightful grand-daughters.
George retired in 2019, having been the Director of Mission for Lichfield Diocese since 2007 and prior to this was in parish ministry for 23 years. As a Curate in Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, and as a Vicar in Blackpool he has been involved in two churches going through the process of renewal and the Holy Spirit and growth into larger churches.
He has a passion for church growth and unity, and is co-author of ‘Everybody Welcome’. He has been a member of FPE for many years and has found it to be a key to sustaining ministry and keeping on the cutting-edge of evangelism.
George Fisher is married to Joan, their daughter Ruth is married to Tim, and they have two grandsons.
Mo trained at St John’s College and set up Ministry at Work in 2012 to offer support to busy professionals in the work place. Working with Bishop Geoff Annas as his Chaplain to business, she also serves on her parish church team and bridges the gap between the faith sector and the public square. A Mum of two, and now a grandmother to Edward, she is looking forward to this next season of life including her role as part of the FPE team.
John Holbrook first sensed God's call to a ministry of sharing Jesus and helping the Church to grow whilst a teenager growing up in Bristol. He has since immodestly added the aim of trying to improve the world! After studying at Oxford and Cambridge he was ordained in 1986, serving in London, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Dorset before becoming Bishop of Brixworth (Peterborough Diocese) in 2011.
As Bishop John has had special responsibility for Mission, Education and Ministry. Nationally he chairs the "Life Events" reference group and represents the Church of England to the Baptist Union. Since 2019 he has chaired the Trustees of ReSource Anglican Renewal Ministries whose vision is "Alive in the Spirit and Active in Mission". John has been a member of FPE for over 30 years.
